FAQs
Indica strains are often associated with physical relaxation, sativa strains with cerebral energy, and hybrids combine elements of both. Gas Pedal is an indica hybrid. These dried cannabis flowers have the characteristics of this strain.
Location, climate, water, and terroir can influence the flavour, aroma, and terpene profile of cannabis, similar to wine or coffee. Gas Pedal is grown in our Okanagan Valley facility in southern British Columbia.
Potency refers to THC content, while the terpene profile contributes to aroma and flavour (“the nose”). Gas Pedal tests at 26–29% THC with 2.5%+ total terpenes (dominated by d-limonene, ?-caryophyllene, ?-myrcene, and ?-humulene). This provides the strain’s gassy, sweet-earthy notes.
Irradiation is a process sometimes required by law to reduce microbes. It is considered safe but can affect terpenes and flavour. Gas Pedal is non-irradiated.
Machine trimming is efficient but can affect trichomes (resin glands containing cannabinoids and terpenes). Hand trimming involves manual manicuring of each bud. Gas Pedal is hand trimmed.
Hang drying allows gradual, even moisture loss. This is the method used for Gas Pedal.
Adaptive curing is our preferred curing process where temperature, humidity, and airflow are monitored and adjusted for each batch by our cultivation team (including an agriculture Hall of Famer). This supports consistency across batches. Gas Pedal undergoes this process.
